MEET THE NEW FORD FLEX

No, it's not a futuristic concept vehicle you'd see at an international auto show. But with its advanced, forward-thinking style and design, it might just as well be. It's the all-new Flex.

Every Flex comes with 1st-row bucket seats, 2nd-row 60/40 split bench seat and 3rd-row 50/50 split bench seat for 7-passenger seating. Or go with a 6-passenger arrangement by choosing the optional 2nd-row 40/40 bucket seats, which offer an available center console with storage. What's most amazing about the Flex isn't the number of passengers it can accommodate, but the amazing amount of seating room and sense of open space it provides.
In a Flex, all the seat backs (except the driver's, of course) fold flat to make it easier to accommodate whatever cargo you need to carry. So, if you really want to transport a lot of things, fold down the 2nd- and 3rd-row seats plus the front passenger seat back. Those extra-long items you couldn't move before - not a problem now.
If you're the kind of person who just can't get enough natural light, the multipanel Vista Roof option will definitely be on your list of must-have features. The Vista Roof consists of four skylights covering all three rows of occupants. A power moonroof sits over the 1st row. The 2nd row has two openings. And a larger single skylight is over the 3rd row.

The next-generation DVD Navigation System with Reverse Camera System and SIRIUS Travel Link™ service* is an exclusive option in the high-end Limited model. SIRIUS Travel Link includes real-time traffic information, current and forecasted national weather information, fuel prices, sports scores and schedules, and movie listings. Programming is subject to geographical location and availability.
*SIRIUS service not available in Alaska and Hawaii. Some features are unavailable while driving. See your dealer for details. SIRIUS is a registered trademark of SIRIUS Satellite Radio, Inc.
Choose lighting that fits your mood with the 7-color programmable ambient lighting feature that's standard in Flex Limited and available in Flex SEL with the optional Lighting Package. You can change the lighting on two LEDs on the rear of the front console, two in the front footwells, one inside the front floor console, and two around the front cupholders.

Flex comes with dual-stage front seat airbags in the Personal Safety System® and front seat-mounted side impact airbags. And there's the Safety Canopy System with side curtain airbags that helps protect outboard occupants in all three rows. The system can sense a side impact or rollover occurring. It also has "roll-fold" technology: the curtain airbag is designed to position itself between the occupant's head and side window glass. |
